It all started with a long layover at an airport, when besties Meg and Mish started dreaming up the idea for Rock & Soul.

We dreamed of a place where we could be our authentic selves at all costs, where we could have the freedom of expression and creation and have a work life balance too. A place where other artists could have their own businesses with the feel and inspiration of a team.

We thought about the client experience we wanted. A laid back environment where you could show up in a messy top knot and sweats or in your favorite extra special outfit, decked out to the nines. Either way you fit in, either way you belong. The waiting area would feel like a boho comfy oasis with plants everywhere and the salon floor had cool music and a mystical feel with crystals and neon signs and vintage furnishings. Now we just needed a name. What do we call a space where we believed in beauty on a soul level that had a rock and roll flair? The cool girl weirdo club was born: Rock and Soul Hair Collective.
